The Secret-- or is it?

Thanks to Oprah, the Secret is anything but now. And in case you were out of the country recently, or on the moon, Oprah showed this incredible movie, called The Secret on her show. I'm sending her flowers ! It has done wonders to open people up to what is. Everywhere I go, people ask me, "have you seen the Secret?" Well yes I have, some time ago now, but with this new energy surrounding it, it has definitely sparked some folks into gear.

The premise of this documentary style show is all about The Law Of Attraction. That is what I base not only my coaching business on, but my life, as well. Once, several years ago, I attracted a large 6 bedroom house with a pool into my life! How did I do it? Followed this little recipe; think it, speak it, and act on it. I thought about nothing else for weeks. I drove by the house (slowly) everyday till the deal went through. And I told people that was where I was moving to, by the end year. Click, click, click. The process happened because I expected it to. I could feel what it was like to be in the house, out in the garden, in the pool, hot tub etc. I knew it would happen. And by December of 1996, we were packing to move to our new house !

Law of Attraction, LOA, isn't about stuff just falling from the sky ! It's about the knowledge that what you think about, put your energy into, and focus on, comes to you- you actually attract. Thoughts are energy, they are magnets.

Now, I believe because this information has touched even more people than ever before because of Oprah, people can see their own way to creating what they want.
Use the recipe; think it, speak it, act on it! Yes we create our own reality.

If you are in business or have a career that you know would grow if only you got to meet more people, but are too paralyzed to get out to network, you are not alone.
Just last month I was speaking to a client who said she knew she had to network, yet felt unsure ( read: scared to try) how to go about it. Not to worry, I said.

Here's a tip for a fun way to network. Call a friend in the business world, and plan to go together to an event that the Chamber of Commerce, or any other group you know of is putting on. Whenever you go together a couple of good things happen. Firstly, you have some support, and at least one face you know ! Second you can introduce each other, and promote your friends business, while they can do the same for yours. Most people find it easy to sing the praises of another business.

So go ahead, and commit to getting out there to network this month. All it take s is the first step, and you'll see it's not so scary as you thought it was. Set your intention to have fun and meet really interesting people. You'll be attracting your next customer!
