Attracting Backwards Have you ever heard this phrase in conversation when someone asks a favor of another and the reply is ‘ sure -- not a problem!’ ? maybe you have said yourself. I was out the other day and overheard this remark between two people, and it reminded me of a women I met several years ago who’s life was in chaos. Her standard reply to just about everything you asked her was …. “Not a problem” yet when you heard of her plight in life- it was all one big Problem all right! Totally convinced that the world just kept setting up all these problems in her path to make her life miserable, she could not understand why it kept happening. Her boyfriend was out of work –again. Her teenage kids fought constantly. Her boss was a jerk. The dog keeps running away. Look at the price of gas AND her car needs new brakes. Now the landlord wants to kick them out and on and on. Her total focus was negative all the time. That is why more kept coming, because she chose to keep focusing on it. In effect she was attracting backwards. Situations she really didn’t want. Ironically, it would appear she was ‘not wanting any problems’ but her speech and thoughts produced other wise. Here’s the kicker: the Universe edits out the words Don’t, not and no! So what was she actaully saying if you take out the 'not' in her favorite phrase; "not a problem" ... it was a problem, see? I even caught myself the other day saying this catchy phrase I hear others say….”No worries!” yikes!! Why? Because I will have plenty to worry about if my language includes that worry word. So since The Universe edits out don’t , not, and no all the time, it’s up to us to chose our words carefully. Want to hear my solution? Now I have switched to “It’s all good!” There – that’s better ! Careful what you focus on

Pass it on So ok , lots of talk about The Secret as of late. It's a movie, it's a book, and its all the rage. Full of good stuff to be sure.
