| Hello, and Merry Christmas to you ! |
 |
|
Our last time together for 2007 to Build, Share & Grow The year has come to an end, it's true. Yet, what has the year been for you? What memories have you created, and how many goals have you accomplished for 2007? You are a different person today as a result of the choices you made throughout the whole year. You are exactly on the right part of your Path right now as a direct result of all your choices.
Liking where you are? Hope so. If not, the good news is that there is a fresh new year around the corner for fresh new choices you have the right to make for yourself ! Think about that for a moment- that is really good news isn't it?
Here's what colleague Jon Gordon says about happiness and success....
... I believe I have found the key to happiness and success and it can be observed first hand in millions of homes and children's hearts this holiday season. The key is to be like a kid on Christmas morning—Thankful for the gifts you have received and optimistic and excited about the new gifts that are coming your way.
It's all about energy and when we project grateful energy we receive more gifts to be grateful about. That's why abundance will flow into our life when gratitude flows out of our heart. We become a gratitude magnet and experience more joy, love, peace, happiness, and prosperity.

Reflection ~~ "It's a good thing" as Martha Stewart says ! How fast did 2007 go ? What were the highlights that come to mind for you? How grateful are you to have lived through the year and gain many more life enriching experiences?
This past year certainly has been a wonderful one for many reasons for myself. A few things that come to mind; * Being asked to be a guest speaker at business groups- that was fun! * Having the privilege of hearing all the a-ha moments of clients as they grow and realize their goals * Watching my husbands emerging gift for bird photography take off. He is now selling some of his pieces! * Being part of my grand daughter, Ava's life- we go every Tuesday to KinderMusic. I am so happy to be Grandma Nona, you would not believe it! I shop The Pink Department so much more now !!( remember, I had 2 boys ) She turned One this September. * Our second son, Graham, was married in late summer to our wonderful new daughter in law, Kyla. and our family grows ... * We met Lesley in the September issue, and are following her story as she embarks on a personal journey. * Bill and I prepare for our trip into Vancouver on Christmas morning to meet the homeless and offer a lunch to each one and words of encouragement. It's become an annual affair for us.
So, as I reflect my year, not only can I measure what I have gained through rich experiences, but also see where I have so much to be grateful for. I am learning to be a gratitude magnet, just like Jon.

Let's check in with Lesley this month I asked Lesley to give us a snapshot of her progress over the past month on her amazing weight loss journey. And, I asked her to give her thoughts on what is a challenge for her, and how to overcome it. Sounds like routines are a big help. Otherwise planning for the 'unexpected' is her way to stay on top of things. She is one determined lady. So this is what she reports...
...This month began great weighing in with a loss of 10 pounds in the first two weeks Great!!! Then, I could not make it down to sureslim to get weighed and with Christmas parties and getting shopping for unexpected travel arrangements for my children. Although I did not get weighed or find out who won the beautiful red vase, feel I have kept to the basic routine and I cannot wait to go and get weighed. This week is still crazzzzy as I am preparing for a girls Christmas dinner party. I find when I am not in my routine I tend to cheat. I have to learn to prepare for the unexpected, Oh! Everyday is a Christmas challenge ~~ it's all about the food.... that's all I see and smell. I just love Dinner Parties, yet, I cannot wait for it to be over, so I can get back to normal (is that not a terrible thing to say). In a weeks time I shall be in more control.
Merry Christmas to everyone and I wish you all a great healthy time over the holiday's and a wonderful safe New Year. Roll on 2008... here we come... Best Wishes, Lesley (You'll see less of me next year)
